We embarked on our journey in the industry back in 1996. Today, we have franchisees spanning the East Coast of Australia, from Mackay to Adelaide. Each of these branches is independently owned. Our head office, located in Brisbane, is the heart of our operations where we manufacture coatings for all our franchisees. Those who adhere to the Roofshield Manual’s standards are granted the privilege to operate under the esteemed Roofshield name.
The Birth of Roofshield
The inception of our signature product, Roofshield, can be credited to the expertise of industrial paint chemist, Bob Gilmore.
With over 35 years of experience at renowned companies like Dulux and Bristol, Bob believed he could craft a superior product. He took the bold step to patent and produce his unique creation, naming it ‘Roofshield’.
But Bob didn’t stop at just manufacturing; he ventured into its application, laying the foundation for the Roofshield we recognize today.

From its humble beginnings, Roofshield has witnessed tremendous growth, with its legacy being passed down through the original family members.
Today, we stand tall, maintaining our esteemed reputation as the most trusted Roof Restoration company on the East Coast of Australia. Each year, we successfully restore over 600 roofs and offer a comprehensive 10-year installation and product warranty. This dual assurance comes directly from us, ensuring you peace of mind.
