Roofshield Fungicide Wash Facts:
A low toxicity water based fungicidal wash to sterilise and kill fungus and micro organisms on roofs and other surfaces before application of coatings.
Roofshield FUNGICIDE WASH contains the active ingredients cationic amine & isothiazolinone. (appropriate R & S Phrases: R36/37/38-41-43 & S13-24/25-26-27- 28(water)-36/37/39). These substances are not subject to known recognised exposure limits.
It has broad spectrum activity and is effective in the treatment of bacteria, yeasts, fungi, and algae which are the common cause of unsightly growths on fibrous cement roofs and other surfaces.
Intended Uses:
For the treatment and killing of fungus and other disfiguring growths on fibrous cement roofs.
As the critical fungus treatment of the Roofshield COATING System for the refurbishment of old (Fibro) and fibrous cement roofs.
As a general fungicide or mildewcide for most surfaces.
Application:
Apply as supplied by spray or brush.
Cautions:
Whilst this is a low toxicity product normal care and good practice in handling chemical substances should be exercised.
Avoid breathing the vapour if applying by spray. Goggles and breathing protection is recommended.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. (Wash any contamination with clean water) Do not allow overspray to drift towards windows and doors.
Do not add to paints.
Do not dispose of in drains, in gardens, or on grass or lawns.
Disconnect roof from water tanks before application and thoroughly hose and wash gutters and downpipes before reconnection.
Allow to act and dry a minimum of 24 hours before application of sealers or paints.
